Top Secret Baseball

This is just a cool little thing I found, while fucking around on GoogleMaps. If you've heard of Area51, then you know it's one of the most secretive and heavily guarded places on US soil, containing experimental aircraft, weapons, and possibly spacecraft and alien bodies recovered from the Roswell, NM 1947 Flying Saucer Crash. Using GoogleMaps, I was able to zoom in to Area 51, and to my surprise I found a baseball field smack dab in the middle of the complex. It's pretty cool to think of top secret government scientists, engineers, and maybe even Extra-Terrestrials knocking out a few innings. This satellite image below from August 28, 1968 shows this ball field clearly 42 years ago, and in pretty good shape. You can see the base path clearer in '68 then today, suggesting that it doesn't get much use anymore, or at least that it was better maintained back then.
